Recognizing and Overcoming Pandemic Stress: What We've Learned One Year Later

Thursday, April 15, at 12:00 p.m. CST overcoming-pandemic-stress-webinar

Everyone living through the pandemic would agree that disruptions to daily life have been stressful. Within the past year, we have abruptly changed how we work, play, socialize, and see our family and friends, while being subjected to a 24/7 news cycle bombarding us with news about the virus.

Our support systems–such as family, friends, and even co-workers–have been put at a distance. When we suddenly find ourselves isolated, we may cope with the stress in gradually more and more unhealthy ways without even knowing it. So how can you recognize these unhealthy habits and better yet–reverse them?

Join Dr. Samoon Ahmad, founder of the Integrative Center for Wellness, as he discusses the long-term impact that stress can have on one’s physical and mental well-being. He will provide tools that individuals can use to evaluate their own level of well-being, and give specific interventions that can reverse bad habits and help drive positive behavior change in their lives.

In this webinar you will:

  • Differentiate between signs of normal stress and pathological stress
  • Learn how to examine your newly developed habits during the pandemic
  • Identify what interventions you can use to interrupt these behaviors and cycles
  • Discover how to remain motivated and committed to making these positive changes
