In efforts to decrease the risk of heart disease, organizations across the nation raise awareness about heart health. Your heart is a muscle, so you have to work it just like you'd work your biceps or your core. Our Up Beat Challenge invites you to do 500 minutes of cardio exercise this month. If you usually go for a walk, kick it up a notch and try a light jog, or switch it up and try something totally new. Whatever activity you choose, raise your heart rate for 20 minutes or more at a time.
